The guides here sent me through wolf packs, swamp and knee deep snow to find that buck of my dreams. But I missed it.
Rut Lodge is a fine rustic establishment, current Lodge built in the early 70s. Gone through a few renovations over the years with a newer one hole privy overlooking a scenic water hole wetlands. Lots of native landscaping around the Lodge to help you feel one with your environment, but still have a cool beverage amenity and a thermal defense amenity to help case any chills that have penetrated your body away with nice warmth. Some on site cooking and diners provided, with an all natural outside cooking zone pit. Has a tiny house type feel with a large open concept gathering living area just outside the front Lodges door. On site music for all moods and some movie nights provided if weather doesn't support outdoor entertainment.
Been going here many years, great people and nice social atmosphere. With a lot of amazing stories that can only be the truest adventures told.
Accommodations are exquisite. The camp hosts are second to none. Peaceful serenity surrounds your visit. That is until they return from their late night outings!
Ideal retreat setting in the north woods with lavish accommodations, outdoor ambiance, and a great HVAC system. The trophy wall mount museum is a must if you stop by. Plenty of free parking.
