If you like to Kayak or canoe the Flambeau River is good place to go. There are good places to camp and fish along the way.

I go to north fork of flambeau river just below turtle flambeau flowage. Semi wilderness area. Use Robinson boat landing for parking. Located off turtle dam road on hwy FF in iron county,Wisconsin. Walk upstream from boat landing to the dam area at turtle flambeau flowage. Wild,extremely scenic, with many river rapids from here south to Park Falls,Wisconsin in price county.
